Multitude

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

So many things have happened in the past three or four days. Here are a few words to describe what happened.

Typhoon.

Flood.

5 stages of despair.

Death.

Sacrifice.

My friend was badly hurt.. bad stuff happened.  I was sleeping over and he decided to forge a sword.  The work in itself helped him.  As he worked the metal, his pain seemed to subside.  It never really went away but the very act of forging was therapeutic..  The way he worked the metal… the heat, the smell. It was filled with passion.

I had worked with metal before but if I had worked with brass or copper, he was working with pure steel.  It was pretty intense and I felt sad and strangely honored at the same time.

His act of working with metal totally blew my mind.  I had never imagined it would be like that.  It was like living out one of those "reader experiences" in reader’s digest.

The work in itself was filled with the pain that he recently experienced.  I would normally have wanted to watch but it just wasn’t right.  I listened to him working with the metal, just hammering away and creating away.  And so I fell into a dreamless slumber.

If you ever read this man, I really love you and care for you… Fare the well my brother..

Chicken chow mein

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006

I’m gonna go try and cook chicken chow mein Chickenchowmein for our dnd game tomorrow.

I don’t know how to cook it but i just got this recipe off the internet and i’m gonna go try and follow it.  It looks pretty easy to do, just stir fry a bunch of stuff.  The thing that I really hate is slicing the vegetables up.  I even had the chicken saleslady at waltermart chop up the chicken breasts that i bought.    I have to slice up four things tomorrow.

1. mushrooms

2. squidballs

3. pechay (its a green chinese cabbage and I absolutely have no idea how to cut it up.)

4. a spare chicken breast I had lying about in my freezer.

I hate slicing!  I bought this nice big sharp knife at walter. I hope its pretty sharp because I just want to chop the veggies up and be done with it.

Stuff I have to do tonight:

1. do some washing up

2. chop up some of the shit.

3. marinate chicken

4. try to think up stuff for the campaign.

As you guys see, I’m a poor harrassed DM.

cooked the sausages!

Saturday, September 16th, 2006

I cooked the sausages that I bought from SM mall of asia today and I asked Kashi and Yummy to lunch.  We had buttered mixed green peas, corn and carrots, a baked potato each and a salad as side dishes.  Main course was the sausages with honey-mustard shit that Kashi loves..  Good lunch…

Gwolbschublig this is not what I cooked because I didn’t take a picture of it but It SOMEHOW looks identical.

Today I went to the mall of asia with my friend Kashi and his girlfriend Yummy.  It was great! At first I was bored out of my skull with the mall because it was essentially just a huge SM mall.  We ate at this crazy japanese restaurant, Crazyroll.  They baked their sushi and put non japanese toppings on it like cheese and chili and stuff.  I ordered their "volcano" sushi but it wasn’t quite as good as the sushi kashi ordered; cream cheese sushi.  After eating we walked around a bit, took pictures with the mascots and looked in a couple of stores.

It was pretty okay but the real highlight of the trip was the trip to the Toy kingdom toystore.  We saw lots of cool stuff like a do it yourself stuffed toy center and lots of toys.  Here’s what I wanted to buy:

A pair of very tiny cute toy otters.34

These aren’t the ones that I really saw.. The ones that i saw were much cuter than these ones.

A huge stuffed tiger.

A Ds game Trace memory.

Dragonball figurines

Tamagotchi

Plus Kash and I saw this real cool stall which sold voodoo keychains.  The keychains were in the shape of mummies with various costumes and stuff.12372801_o

We then watched a movie: Crank

It was so good! Not a SINGLE boring moment.  Watch it.  I don’t usually like action movies but I REALLY Liked this one.

Whee thats all for now!
