An outing with some bowling.

Finally after a week of hectic scheduling, I finally got to go out to see a movie with the guys.  I was looking forward to a relaxing movie (Night at the museum) but I was horrified to discover when the opening credits rolled that we were actually watching Babel.

Cate_blanchett4 Babel was a good movie but it wasn’t what I wanted.  It was a movie that showed you lots of stuff and made you think.

It wasn’t RELAXING AT all.

In fact, at one point in the movie, I felt a fainting episode coming on because of the blood.  I just hate the sight of people bleeding to death.

BTW, yes,  I have fainted before and I knew if I watched any more of the bleeding I would have collapsed.  I went to the toilet and looked in the mirror.  I was pale as a ghost.  But I would have loved watching this movie if I wasn’t so stressed out.

I’m feeling very un-relaxed right now and tomorrow I have to go and study for my exams again!  Noooo!!!  I wanted to relax but this movie got me so worked up!!

Bowlingme After the movie we went bowling.

Nakhai was very nice and showed us the ropes and techniques of bowling (and paid for everything.)

I kinda liked it except for the part where they made us wear dumb bowling shoes.  Ewww .. Want a bad case of athlete’s foot anyone?  I thought the shoes made my feet look like Ronald Mc Donald’s.

Dsc04449 This is me bowling! It’s very tricky because there’s lots of factors to take into consideration..  Stuff like spin, grip, ball weight and aiming are very important.

I learned that heavy balls are really powerful and easy to control but hard to throw!

Light balls are easily thrown but have poor control and they tend to spin a lot.

So… I played bowling.

Scoresheetmed This was the score sheet! Not Bad eh?

We played for two games and I was so tired (and stressed) from the movie that I just threw the balls any old way.

Bowling1 Everyone had a great time!

I had a great time too at least until the second game of bowling!

I must admit, It was a fun outing but I would have preferred a less stressful movie after a long hard week. Thanks very much Nakhai, Yummy, Emil and David.  Sorry if I’m being a grouch.

Hagaren I recently started playing GuildWars again.  The new expansion is really nice to play with all the new heroes and all.  I’m a little tired of DOTA.

As of now I’m leveling up my hero army so I can beat the game.

Next month is my Birthday.  Weee.. I’ll be twenty five. Dammit.  five more years till I’m thirty.

Haha!! I saw Babel a couple of weeks ago and I liked it, except the Japanese part. That part was just a filler and was completely useless. By the way..how can you be a doctor if you can’t stand the sight of blood?? HMMMM?!hehehe :-) The same exact thing happened to me recently when I went to see Saw III!! It was absolutely heinous!!! After the 1st 10 min. we left and never went back inside!! What a waste of money..so if u didn’t like the Babel scene don’t even think of watching Saw III! And I never go bowling just because I don’t want to wear the shoes!! hehe
